Mutual Aid for CA

Let's Lend Californians a Helping Hand

The devastation caused by the California wildfires has left countless families and communities in urgent need of help. Black and Brown families, already facing systemic inequities, are among the hardest hit. By coming together, we can help ensure they receive the resources and support they need to rebuild.

We're compiling resources, including fundraising efforts (shared by Nzingha Stewart), to help those who want to contribute directly to relief efforts. Every donation makes a difference in the lives of families who have lost their homes, belongings, and stability.

How You Can Help:

Why This Matters:

Mutual aid is a vital way to address gaps in traditional systems and ensure that aid reaches communities who need it most. By supporting these efforts, you're helping rebuild lives, homes, and hope. This moment calls for collective action and solidarity. Let's show up for our neighbors and help rebuild lives together.

If you have links to additional resources, feel free to share them with us and we will update here.

From Maxx Jerome: If you know anyone in need of food, clothing, or other essential items, please don't hesitate to reach out. I serve the Los Angeles community every Sunday. Together, we can make a difference and support those who need it most. Feel free to share this message with others who might know someone in need. Let's spread kindness and compassion far and wide.
