Voting In 2022

With the Roe v Wade ruling by the Supreme Court, we are living through unprecedented times. While there’s a lot to be said about how we got here, I want to be clear that it’s important for us to forget a path forward. We need something different than what politicians, hungry for power and eager to lead us on without protecting the rights which we’ve told them we were concerned about losing, have been feeding us. Enough is enough. It’s time to put our votes where they count, for people that listen to the needs of our communities and that keep their word. If they can’t do that then they must go, regardless of what party they belong to. The time of settling is gone. Now we play hardball.

As we look ahead to the midterms, we need to keep track of what’s going on given all the laws that have been changed as the right has continued to erode our voting rights. I’m hoping this space can provide the information that we need in order to vote the right people into office.
